The Book of Sirach Ch Two v- 14 thru 17

14 Woe to you that have lost hope! What will you do at the Lord’s visitation? 15 Those who fear the Lord do not disobey his words; those who love him keep his ways. 16 Those who fear the Lord seek to please him; those who love him are filled with his law. 17 Those who fear the Lord prepare their hearts and humble themselves before him.

Awaiting Your call came today finding Salvation along the way. It was written praying on the above Scripture verse but more so from reflecting on Sirach 2 v14 and it reminds us all to ponder; “Woe to you that have lost hope! What will you do at the Lord’s visitation?” Fair enough question. What will you do when Jesus comes? Deny or comply? What will you do when death pokes you in the eye? Satan will call too in the choices you make. But to choose Life over Death means you abide in Him as charity’s grace for truly “those who love Him keep His ways.” We know the answer but still disagree unwilling to put in the effort to know Salvation that is free. Enjoy the song. Reflect with me on what “Awaiting Your Call” really means. Heaven or Hell? Amen.

Awaiting Your Call

In the depths of darkness, where hope is lost,

A tale of disobedience, where lines were crossed,

We strayed from the path, our hearts wandered astray,

But Redemption awaits, on this fateful day.

Oh, Lord, we seek forgiveness, for our sins so deep,

Grant us your mercy, let our souls find sleep,

We bow before your presence, humbled and in awe,

Ready to face the consequences, at your visitation’s call.

Through the trials and temptations, we lost our way,

But your light still guides us, as we kneel and pray,

We’ve learned from our mistakes, we’ve felt the pain,

Now we stand before you, ready to explain.

Oh, Lord, we seek forgiveness, for our sins so deep,

Grant us your mercy, let our souls find sleep,

We bow before your presence, humbled and in awe,

Ready to face the consequences, at your visitation’s call.

We’ve seen the errors of our past,

The consequences that they’ve cast,

But with your grace, we find the strength,

To face the judgment, no matter the length.

In your presence, we’ll confess, with honest hearts,

Recounting the choices that tore us apart,

But with hope, we’ll rise, from the ashes we’ll soar,

For your love and forgiveness, we’ll forever adore.

Oh, Lord, we seek forgiveness, for our sins so deep,

Grant us your mercy, let our souls find sleep,

We bow before your presence, humbled and in awe,

Ready to face the consequences, at your visitation’s call.

At your visitation, we’ll lay it all bare,

With repentance in our souls, we’ll show we truly care,

May your mercy and love shine upon us all,

As we stand before you, awaiting your call. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Happy Birthday Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
