The Book of Sirach Ch One v- 18 thru 19
18 The crown of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, flowering with peace and perfect health. 19 Knowledge and full understanding she rains down; she heightens the glory of those who possess her.
Is wisdom’s fear of the Lord possessed so dear? Those who possess her knowledge seem to be granted full understanding about life and lives in perfect health striving to continually flower in peace we fear? As a poet, I naturally tend to write songs about the subjects that I love to seek and understand; wisdom, Redemption, goodwill and the like. I pray you can identify with the song I wrote today. Joy in the Light of Wisdom. Amen.
Wisdom’s Light
In the realm of wisdom, where fear takes its leave,
The Lord’s embrace fills our hearts we do truly believe.
With knowledge and understanding, we find our way,
In this sacred space, where peace lights our day.
Oh, fear is the Lord’s, we need not be afraid,
For wisdom’s light guides us, like a shining blade.
With her knowledge and insight, our hearts find release,
Bringing perfect health, and a garden of peace.
In the depths of her being, wisdom holds the key,
Unveiling the mysteries, setting our spirits free.
Her wisdom’s fear is a beacon, lighting up the night,
Leading us towards truth, in its radiant light.
Oh, fear is the Lord’s, we need not be afraid,
For wisdom’s light guides us, like a shining blade.
With her knowledge and insight, our hearts find release,
Bringing perfect health, and a garden of peace.
With every step we take, in this journey of life,
Wisdom’s presence soothes us, eases our strife.
Her gentle whispers guide us, through each twist and turn,
Helping us discern, the lessons we must learn.
In wisdom’s realm, perfect health does bloom,
Her healing touch, dispels all of the world’s gloom.
With understanding, we find solace and grace,
Embracing her teachings, we find our rightful place.
Oh, fear is the Lord’s, we need not be afraid,
For wisdom’s light guides us, like a shining blade.
With her knowledge and insight, our hearts find release,
Bringing perfect health, and a garden of peace.
So let us seek wisdom, with open hearts and minds,
For in her embrace, true tranquility we’ll find.
With fear left behind, and understanding in our grasp,
We walk the path of wisdom, where peace forever lasts. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
