12-03-2023 Sirach 1 V1114 Womb wearing faithful
The Book of Sirach Ch One v- 11 thru 14
11 The fear of the Lord is glory and exultation, gladness and a festive crown. 12 The fear of the Lord rejoices the heart, giving gladness, joy, and long life. 13 Those who fear the Lord will be happy at the end, even on the day of death they will be blessed. 14 The beginning of wisdom is to fear the Lord; she is created with the faithful in the womb.
Having a reverential fear or awe of God is the foundation upon which wisdom can be built. This fear is not a terror or anxiety but rather a deep respect and recognition of God’s sovereignty and authority. When one is adorned from the womb with fear this person grows up with a respect for the Lord, starting from their earliest days and is adorned with this quality. It becomes a fundamental part of their character and guides their actions throughout their life as you can obviously see the live God First.
People like you and me believe that this fear of the Lord brings gladness and a peaceful death. This can be interpreted as the understanding that living in reverence and obedience to God brings inner joy and contentment. It also suggests that those who fear the Lord will have a sense of peace and assurance as they approach the end of their lives.
When we live this knowledge, we show the importance of having a healthy reverence for God as a starting point in life gaining wisdom and living a fulfilled existence embracing Salvation seeking not our own will but the Will of God. I say again, having a reverential fear or awe of God is the foundation upon which wisdom can be built. This fear is not a terror or anxiety but rather a deep respect and recognition of God’s sovereignty and authority. Here, we find peace, passion and purpose to live Redeemed. Peace; The joy of living with a sense of purpose where your passion shows Jesus as the Christ. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
