11-14-2023 Wisdom 3 V-0105 Foolish view states death is what they know
The Book of Wisdom Chapter Three v- One thru Five
1 The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. 2 They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction 3 and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. 4 For if to others, indeed, they seem punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; 5 Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself.
If you believe in Life Eternal by the Salvation received from Christ dying on a Cross for your sins, then you prescribe to the belief that the souls of righteous individuals are under the care and protection of God. It suggests that although foolish people may perceive these righteous individuals as dead or afflicted, they are actually in a state of peace. It conveys the idea that death is not the end for the righteous, but rather a transition to a peaceful existence with God. It is what humanity craves to live forever. When you understand this and apply a Christ-like attitude towards anything that happens in your life good or bad because you call on the Name of Jesus asking God First to direct your paths of life in goodwill.
We’ve been taking care of a priest friend of ours again who has been battling cancer. He is a Haitian priest who grew up in Haiti before coming to the United States and serving the people as a religious. For more than 50 years he served with zeal and now we have been helping him clean and cook and take care of three boys he has had custody of since their mother died. His coming into our lives in no secret we have been helping him and the boys with the little things he needs to heal from prostrate cancer and get better. He has struggled with this these last couple of months and his sister offered to help nurse him back to good health. We then told Father Fracilus that we could take him to Miami to his sisters and he agreed. We loaded him into our Honda CRV with a cot mattress in the back and dropped him off three and half hours later at his sisters in North Miami yesterday at 5:30 PM and returned home by 9:45 PM. Long day as we pray for Fr Fracilus continued healing and recovery from prostate cancer. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born has been answered; she is 27 weeks pregnant with a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Foolish view states death is what they know**
God’s Hand holds the righteous one’s souls
Them not touched by torment God did relent
Foolish view states death is what they know
Afflicted passing destroyed utterly not what they represent
Peace they have achieved
Punished seemingly indeed
Immortality full of hope believed
Little chastised blessed greatly received
Worthiness found tried by God blessings relieved
