The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 24 v- 42

42 Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.

It is indeed important to prioritize our relationship with God and be prepared for His coming, as we do not know the exact hour or day when judgment will occur or when our last breath will be taken. This idea is emphasized in various religious teachings, encouraging believers to live a life of righteousness, faith, and devotion. Sometimes many of us feel it is immanent for the body seems not able to go further without pain and discomfort and we call out to God that we are ready as we soon find out He is not ready for us. If only we’d believe, then we would understand what Jesus Christ Himself mentions in Matthew 24:36, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

This verse highlights the uncertainty surrounding the exact timing of judgment and stresses the need for constant readiness. While we may be ready or not, God sends His angels of death at a moment’s notice where no matter our fame God has come to end your game of life. This is why the universe reminds us constantly to forgive and see peace as the purpose of life. Without forgiveness and reconciliation your soul is in peril and your being is subjected to eternal refining to become worthy to stand before the Throne and Courts of Heaven. Therefore, the concept of being prepared for the ultimate judgment or the end of life is a universal one. It urges individuals to lead a life centered around spirituality, morality, and love for God and others. By placing God First, living according to His teachings, and seeking His guidance, we can strive to be ready for His coming and find solace in knowing that we have lived a life pleasing to Him. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott.
