10-31-2023 Romans 8 V-2427 Interceding Spirit groanings inexpressible
The Letter to the Romans Chapter 8 v- 24 thru 27
24 For in hope we were saved. Now hope that sees for itself is not hope. For who hopes for what one sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait with endurance. 26 In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. 27 And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because it intercedes for the holy ones according to God’s Will.
The Apostle Paul writes, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through inexpressible groans. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the Will of God.”
According to this interpretation, the inexpressible groaning referred to signifies the deep yearning, longing, and hope that exist within the human soul. This groaning is said to be inexpressible because, at times, our human language and understanding are limited, and we are unable to fully articulate the depths of our desires and hopes. Some say this is when people speak in tongues some say speaking in tongues has biblical thoughts. God allows the Spirit to use Hope as an inexpressible groaning for several reasons but more importantly to deepen our dependence on God: By experiencing this inexpressible groaning, we recognize our limitations and weaknesses, acknowledging our need for God’s help and guidance. This allows us to connect with God’s Spirit: The groaning of our soul is believed to align us with the Spirit of God, who intercedes for us and communicates our deepest desires to God.
What I truly love is God really wants to conform us to the image of Christ: The groaning is seen as a process of transformation, shaping us to become more like Christ. It is through this groaning that we learn to trust God’s promises and develop spiritual maturity. This will retell of the transient nature of this world: The groaning reminds us that our ultimate hope lies in the fulfillment of God’s promises and the restoration of all things in Christ. It serves as a reminder that this world is temporary and imperfect, and our true hope lies in the Eternal and Perfect Kingdom of God. Hope comes from the Spirit expressing in our souls the inexpressible groanings of love of His grace. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born has been answered; she is 24 weeks pregnant with a little boy. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Interceding Spirit groanings inexpressible**
Saved were we by hope
Not hope which sees
Can’t see in how we cope
Hope we can’t see endurance to agree
Weakness ours aided by the Spirit
Pray not how we ought
Interceding Spirit groanings inexpressible feel it
Heart searching going on Spirits intentions caught
Will of God according to ones holy you can’t stop
