10-29-2023 Matthew 22 V-3639 Yourself and neighbor love as same
The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 22 v- 36 thru 39
36 “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” 37 He said to him, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the greatest and the first commandment. 39 The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
To live the greatest commandment taught by Jesus Christ, one must follow His teachings and example. One must practice the Word of God daily. Pray unceasingly over everything they do placing God First in ever decision and Proclaim Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The greatest commandment, as stated by Jesus today, is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Amen.
To live this Commandment, one must cultivate a deep and personal relationship with God through prayer, worship, and studying His Word. This involves seeking to know and understand God’s character, His Will, and His desires for our lives. It also includes surrendering our own desires and ambitions to align ourselves with God’s purposes.
Furthermore, living the greatest Commandment means treating others with love, kindness, compassion, and respect. It involves loving and accepting others as they are, just as God loves and accepts us. This includes forgiving others, practicing humility, and serving those in need.
Ultimately, living the greatest Commandment is a lifelong journey of growing in faith, continually seeking to love God and others with our whole being. It requires daily intentions, self-reflection, and reliance on the Holy Spirit for guidance and transformation. We call it living God First for Salvation to know Life Eternal. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born has been answered; she is 24 weeks pregnant with a little boy. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
