10-24-2023 Luke 12 V-2021 God wants more than a life whore
The Gospel of Luke Chapter 12 v- 20 thru 21
20 But God said to him, ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’ 21 Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God.”
God’s primary concern is not the accumulation of material possessions, but rather the Salvation of humanity through His Son Jesus Christ. What matters to God is that individuals live a life characterized by love, faith, and hope in His Redemption. Possessions are not inherently bad, but they should never become a priority over our relationship with God and our commitment to living out His teachings. Ultimately, God values the transformation of our hearts and our willingness to extend charity and love to others.
Take time to listen to God’s request and discern the specific calling or purpose He has for you. This may come through prayer, meditation, reading scripture, seeking wise counsel, or simply paying attention to the signs and nudges in your life. Release any attachments or fears that may be holding you back from answering God’s call. Allow yourself to surrender to His will and trust that He will guide and provide for you along the way. Seek to develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and character traits required for the task at hand. This may involve further education, training, or refining your existing abilities. Embrace a mindset of continuous learning and growth.
Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who can support, encourage, and hold you accountable in your journey. Join a faith community or connect with others who share your passion and vision. Together, you can strengthen one another and amplify your impact. Once you have discerned God’s calling and prepared yourself, take steps towards fulfilling it. This may involve serving in your local community, joining a mission organization, starting a non-profit, or using your skills and talents to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Be persistent, adaptable, and open to wherever God leads you. As you serve, continue to nurture your relationship with God through prayer, meditation, worship, and regular reflection. Remember that your ability to serve effectively is rooted in your connection with the divine source of love, wisdom, and strength. Serving as requested by God may not always be easy. There will be obstacles, setbacks, and moments of doubt. Embrace these challenges as opportunities for growth, learning, and deepening your faith. Trust that God is with you every step of the way, guiding and sustaining you. Place your faith in what matters to God and Christ Himself will tell you, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born has been answered; she is 23 weeks pregnant with a little boy. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

God wants more than a life whore
Life matters what God likes to be free
