09-17-2023 Romans 14 V-0708 Oneself has not a soul to die for their realization
The Letter to the Romans Chapter 14 v- Seven thru Eight
7 None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself. 8 For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord; so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
The sooner we figure out that God is in control the sooner we begin to see serving as the only life goal. We must find the path to helping others as our pact knowing God First in all decisions making Him the reason we get up no matter the season to serve serve and serve some more as fact. When become One with God, His Son and Spirit so Holy, we seek what He asks of us to live His Will looking for the hungry to feed constantly paying for other’s groceries or cooking a meal for a neighbor just to share the Goodness of God. Giving someone something to drink doesn’t seem that hard but in fact others who need to be hydrated are normally those in the work force of the outside; lawn maintenance crews and construction locations come to mind. Take them some cold bottle water during a hot day giving drink to the thirsty can easily be made. Clothing the naked comes in donations of clothes. If you can’t find anyone homeless then donate those clothing items to your local Second-Hand Store. Look for the ones that give back to the community more thatnseek to make a profit like ours here locally called the Care Center. Salvation Army is good too but while Goodwill gives jobs to the hard to employ they are also a for profit corporation.
Our ministry at God First accepts clothing and items of value too using the donation for prison transition work while visiting the imprisoned to teach them the Word of God’s love of goodwill preparing them for freedom inside the wall of confinement. This is where we shelter the homeless too for our ministries 17-foot camper is used to help the once incarcerated to have a place to stay while finding themselves in society’s freedom once again. One must learn to seek how to comfort the sick and attend funerals that help mourn and bury the dead. These are the SEVEN CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY and they will lead you to the Spiritual Works of Mercy too. They are Teaching the Ignorant, Praying for the Living and the Dead, Correcting Sinners, Counseling Those in Doubt, Consoling the Sorrowful, Bearing Wrongs Patiently and Forgiving Wrongs Willingly. We must use our body to give as we use our soul to preach what we practice and proclaim each and every day; Jesus’ Salvation Eternal Life we pray. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. NJ Emmaus in Oct. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
