09-10-2023 Psalm 95 V-0608 You today oh voice His hear
The Book of Psalms Chapter 95 v- Six thru EIGHT
6 Enter, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the LORD who made us. 7 For He is our God, we are the people He shepherds, the sheep in his hands. Oh, that today you would hear his voice: 8 Do not harden your hearts.
I begin my day in quiet meditation. I just sit and close my eyes and listen to what the Lord has to say. Normally he’s directing me towards some sort of charity that we are planning or seeking to share with someone in need. Our ministry focuses on prison transition work allowing those who are getting out an opportunity to be helped along the way. In this meditation I find the time to be thankful to the Lord looking forward to the practice of reading His Word and turning it into a poem. I don’t know about you but I feel the Spirit in me every moment of every day the Spirit of Jesus becoming one with Him in all things to accomplish the Will of God for goodwill. The poem always reflects what the Spirit leads me to say and I enjoy trying different verses until I feel it is complete and ready to be read aloud. I hope you enjoy the one I’ve written today.
Then I sit back and read it aloud and hear if it has a flow of rhyme of understanding of love of Him. Today my poem reflects the psalms statement, “Oh, that today you would hear his voice do not harden your hearts.” Don’t harden your heart because the Lord is speaking to you and He’s giving you directions to accomplish the love of sharing His Salvation where less is more and goodness reflects every opportunity that you breathe. Today we pick up Larry from Avon Park Correctional. He has finished up his sentence and heads home to Sarasota, Florida. We are going to allow him to use our camper in transition for 30 days without too much fanfare for him to worry about so he can focus on returning to his work of building homes. Please pray for Larry today as we go and pick him up and share new clothes with him and a new life of listening to God speak and accomplishing His Will. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. NJ Emmaus in Oct. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

When you worship do so on your knees
Lord bow down to as you kneel and wheeze
God is He us He made to breathe from the trees
Shepherds His people by hands His believe
You today oh voice His hear
Harden not your hearts Him fear
Listen to the fright God wants to sear
Into your souls with Christ always near
