09-08-2023 Romans 8 V-2831 Glorification by God well-informed
The Letter to the Romans Chapter 8 v- 28 and 31
28 We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined he also called; and those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Once upon a time, there was a man who struggled with every kind of excess. He turned away from God and sought fame over shame unwilling to divulge a deep secret that ruined his life before God called him home to his predestined spot amongst the living preaching and seeing Christ as the Only Way to Heaven. My surrender came to me from an angel spoken clearly illuminating the entire room when I left the Florida streets of Gainesville to embrace my father to seek life anew. “Your Father in Heaven wants you to be a teacher of His Children.” Shocked and thrilled all at the same time I replied, “A Teacher of God’s Children?” “Yes,” was her reply as I began to shed tears and cry.
This made me seek confession learning as a baptized Catholic that I should say I’m sorry for the mistakes I’ve made. Being forgiven made a huge impression on me and I began to read the Bible daily seeking to live in a state of grace. I didn’t know what this Mystery would bring me but I knew I had to become a daily teacher of God’s Children and sought to practice what He was telling me to preach. This is when I truly began to proclaim He who saved the world. The Three P’s of Living Jesus came to Light. Practice. Pray. Proclaim. Poetry just became the source of understanding His Will in His Words of instruction. His directions His grace. I began to translate the Bible into poetry and I sought extra curricular activities in Spiritual settings that encouraged my love of Jesus!
I got a job as a Catholic Third Grade Teacher in Miami, Florida and lived with mom searching ways to expand my faith. I considered becoming a Monk or another type of religious when I learned of a speaker I’d listened to that would help my Spirituality. Scott Hahn was coming to town and I had listened to his conversion from a Protestant Preacher to a Devout Catholic. This is when I first heard of Romans 8:28 because Scott Hahn autographed my book of his I bought and closed it with, “Romans 8:28.” What was this Romans 8:28 I thought and immediately pulling out my Bible and reading it aloud, “We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” I was hooked. God had my number. I was doing what He wanted teaching His children sharing the Word of God as the Truth to be taught. I would continue daily to write and record Universal Utterings now for more than 15 years and my surrender is calling on God First for everything. Especially to be forgiven. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. NJ Emmaus in Oct. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
