08-20-2023 Matthew Ch 28 v-1617 They doubted although His words
Gospel of Matthew Ch 28 v- 16 thru 17
16 The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.
“But they doubted.” Jesus had risen told them where to go and yet even though He was there where He said He would be standing right in front of them “they doubted.” We too feel this often; we doubt Jesus is real and therefore deny Him any thanksgiving any and all worship as the flesh, flash and flair of the world draws our attention away from what is truly right over wrong singing a song where they don’t expect His call. We want to worship but have not a clue how. Jesus asks you to have faith in Him seeing Him as the reason why we do any and all things. Your practice is what He wants. To practice what you preach learning how to pray unceasingly over everything you attempt to accomplish by calling on His Name first! This is how you overcome the doubt; to live and experience His miracles firsthand! Trust His miracles will happen to others while they resonate in you! When we believe, our love will never waiver. When we believe, our faith will never die. When we believe, your hope goes on forever overcoming all obstacles even in the sky! You tell hurricanes and storms just how BIG your God is bigger than any storm accepting how you preform in Him where you believe because you practice, pray and proclaim Him First in your life of goodwill seeking what is right to overcome the wrong of society sharing Salvation to know Redemption firsthand never doubting again. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. NJ Emmaus in Oct. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
