Gospel of Matthew Ch 27 v- 32 thru 36

32 As they were going out, they met a Cyrenian named Simon; this man they pressed into service to carry his cross. 33 And when they came to a place called Golgotha (which means Place of the Skull), 34 they gave Jesus wine to drink mixed with gall. But when he had tasted it, he refused to drink. 35 After they had crucified him, they divided his garments by casting lots; 36 then they sat down and kept watch over him there.

Up late as I arise late sometimes you’d think I would get tired of carrying this Cross each day when the morning comes quicker than the days as you pray. But I don’t. Today we think about His Crucifixion. How do you react when you read Jesus was nailed to a tree? Do you say a prayer of thanksgiving? Do you say a prayer of remorse? Do you open your soul like my soul mate in Christ does each day as she prays the Stations of the Cross and reflects on His Crucifixion by opening her arms up like she is hanging on a Cross with Him? We all have our own way of experiencing the thought of Jesus truly being nailed to the wood of a tree lifted up for all to see as blood dripped from his veins and the life began to run from His ability to breathe being literally chocked by His own weight you’d see. We all have this notion that separates us from the right or wrong this action brought about even to this day more than 2000 years later still waiting on the return of His absolute peace or driving us more and more by the pestilence of excess humanity seethes. The Place of the Skull brought us a Savior that dies for the sins of everyone you see not a soul can separate themselves from God as your Divine Creator even if you don’t agree there is no Supreme Being God allows you to suffer or appease just say please. Today think of the prayer a preacher shared at the Kansas House of Representatives twenty-five years ago and hear what we know is the reason Jesus died on a Cross for; to forgive our sins our excess of too much too soon to much vulgarity in flesh pursued.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Death is the result of power abuse**

Simon the Cyrenian Cross carrying service pressed

Jesus’s Cross he was given as a test

Serve the Roman Empire in jest

Or find the Cross as your coming death

Golgotha Simon dragged that Cross to

Skull Place is its meaning to prove

Death is the result of power abuse

A drink of gall and wine Jesus would refuse

Jesus then was Crucified take a moment and pray

Garments divided lots casted as a prophetic display

Sitting down the Roman guards listened to Him say

Today thief in Paradise you’ll be with Me this very day
