Gospel of Matthew Ch 27 v- 24 thru 26
24 When Pilate saw that he was not succeeding at all, but that a riot was breaking out instead, he took water and washed his hands in the sight of the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this man’s blood. Look to it yourselves.” 25 And the whole people said in reply, “His blood be upon us and upon our children.” 26 Then he released Barabbas to them, but after he had Jesus scourged, he handed him over to be crucified.
Here’s an instance of something lost but never forgotten. The Will of God acts this way. Some may think that all is overlooked but truly God never goes away. Pilate washed his hands an act of shedding responsibility of who really killed the Jews King. Pilate’s response; “I am innocent of this man’s blood. Look to it yourselves.” We do this in our daily lives we shift the blame for something to other’s inabilities to govern as they make your life mundane. One must live the works of Christ for your death is certain unless you live God First to obey. Your “COR” of sideline contribution does not give any meaning to the Latin word for heart. One must give his heart to the mission of seeking souls who are lost first to share the Kingdom of God as the joy of knowing Redemption firsthand. You can‘t wash your hands of your heart’s participation to what Jesus means to every single living breathing soul. The people’s reply today was significant for it is the outcome of Truth be told; “His blood be upon us and upon our children.” Something we deal with until the end of time Jesus is the Savior of the world and His works of Salvation renewed our beings to live forever seeking grace that only Jesus exudes for Life Eternal. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**In mobs sight hands washed**
Succeeding not saw Pilate frustrated
Instead began a riot’s spot
Wanting Him crucified crowd demonstrated
In mobs sight hands washed forgot
Man’s blood His innocence known
Yourselves it too look as you moan
Replying people whole as shown
Children and us blood His our groan
Them Pilate released Barabbas greasy
Jesus scourged ordered Pilate easy
Crucifixion Him over handed sleazy
His innocence became known as absolutely queasy
