Gospel of Matthew Ch 27 v- 19 thru 20
19 While (Pilate) was still seated on the bench, his wife sent him a message, “Have nothing to do with that righteous man. I suffered much in a dream today because of him.” 20 The chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas but to destroy Jesus.
Sometimes we don’t listen to others even when we know they’re advise or suggestions are truly the better way of approaching whatever it is we are doing. Pilate was being persuaded to kill Jesus and release a killer. While he knew better even hearing from his wife of her dream, he seemed backed into a corner unable to make the decision to let Him go. Ahhhh, the Will of God! It appears so hard to understand but simply put placing God First seems out of place even as malicious situations wreaks havoc amongst your own family, friends or foes. The Will of God doesn’t have a way to be discussed unless you live God First and expect what you desire to only live. We must live each day placing Him First and we begin to see His charity as the only way to survive sharing Salvation as the need for all mankind to give each other. Amen. God First is more than a cliché with my wife and I for we talk about Him constantly for it is a way of life always seeking to pray with strangers or give them a dose of Charity that means love, faith and hope of His grace. Leaving the Care Center in Lake Wales yesterday a man commented with joy on our matching shirts my wife and I were wearing. On the front it says, “LOVED.” On the back, it says, “NEED PRAYER ASK ME KNOW.” My wife asked if we could pray for him as we stopped and turned to him in prayer asking his name and calling on his desire out loud. “What’s your name?” she asked. “Mike,” he replied. “What can we pray for you? What’s going on in your life you need God to help with?” “To quit smoking,” he answered. Toni and I prayed over him asking the Lord to release his nicotine desire and then as we left he encouraged us to keep giving to those who need it most. Not everybody needs money but simply a little prayer. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Bench seated as Jesus waited
Today I dreamed of sufferings of Him I didn’t consent
Elders and priest’s crowd persuaded
Barabbas ask to be released or less
Not Jesus you must obey us
Jesus destroy our faith He does not confess
