07-30-2023 Matthew Ch 27 v-0102 Him given for death’s counsel
Gospel of Matthew Ch 27 v- One thru Two
1 When it was morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death. 2 They bound him, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.
If God starts something, you can expect Him to finish it. But if it’s not God then it will quietly disappear into the history of zealous individuals who wanted just to be known in front of the crowd so to speak to be on stage. Not so with Jesus not so. “Not so Precious,” comes to mind. Soon one of them will say, “If not God the high will go away. If it is God, you’ll be fighting against God and you’ll pay.” With your life you’ll learn to obey for God was with Jesus that day. Fully human and fully Divine. Something we have trouble in grasping but if you notice it wasn’t a faze it was God establishing Salvation the Redemption of your sins by the death He would allow to be completed in His Name. The Holy Name of Jesus; The Christ! The Messiah! The Holy One of Israel! The Beginning and The End! The First and The Last! The only miracle worker who ever lived for all miracles completed today are only done by His Name and His Name alone. Every Saint who ever performed a miracle was performed in the Name of Jesus! Not their own but Jesus! All other miracles break a part and die an ugly death. Yes, they bound Him and led Him away to be scourged and ripped a part piece-by-piece blood and flesh making others squeamish who are but weak. “Crucify Him Crucify Him,” they will say. Three days later He’d rise after hanging on the Cross and taking His last breath. Jesus would be the Only One to Rise and find life after death to prove His Kingship His Divinity His love establishing His grace for all eternity better known as Eternal Life. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
