07-28-2023 Matthew Ch 26 v-6972 Gate he went to hide his contempt
Gospel of Matthew Ch 26 v- 69 thru 72
69 Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. One of the maids came over to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.” 70 But he denied it in front of everyone, saying, “I do not know what you are talking about!” 71 As he went out to the gate, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This man was with Jesus the Nazorean.” 72 Again he denied it with an oath, “I do not know the man!”
The cock crowing showdown has begun. Jesus predicted Peter would deny him three times before the cock will cock-a-doodle-doo. We will hear of his third denial tomorrow as we ponder why Jesus had to allow Peter this time of escape literally protecting himself from being killed with Jesus by saying aloud, “I do not know the man!” Jesus has allowed you this protection too. You’ve denied Jesus countless times before you came to understand what it means to be Spirit led God inspired Christ fed. Amen. Like me, I denied Jesus as a child in greed seeking more and more of what would kill the soul from excess as need. I used to think God allowed another to steal my soul away my very being I must say being forced to have sex with a man at 19 wasn’t a joy ride to display it was filled with shame and flesh from the start wondering if one man wants me another too will part from the reality of why flesh makes us see red the desires of the heart our mind must be fed. IN Christ we all can overcome what Satan wants us to do as Salvation will be shun. Once we find the real yes, we will serve Him with the least of the best searching for the joy of Redemption’s success! Amen. Don’t let denial be your dread for you can overcome like Peter from this fear that swirls in our head. Learn grace will never be dead for it is the life of the Spirit that we must learn to wed as One In Him. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

To everyone he denied Jesus was sweeter
Gate he went to hide his contempt
Called by girl another as he went limp
Nazorean the Jesus man this dude went
Oath denial came know not man spent
