Gospel of Matthew Ch 26 v- 62 thru 63
62 The high priest rose and addressed him, “Have you no answer? What are these men testifying against you?” 63 But Jesus was silent. Then the high priest said to him, “I order you to tell us under oath before the living God whether you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”
Many of us have felt the sting of silence. We know its power and its capabilities that refresh the soul as much as anger it. We want to be answered when we ask we want to be in control of others thoughts, actions or words of encouragement. Especially family. When they stop talking to you, it begins to fester like an open sore. You want resolution but find a closed door. Many times, because they are unsaved by Christ’s blood, they refuse Salvation and use silence as a punishment of not being able to say I’m sorry or accept forgiveness as His mercy. The high priest wanted Jesus to answer he wanted his reasons to convict Jesus of being a fraud while evidence had already labeled Him THE Messiah! Eyewitness testimony. People who saw firsthand what Jesus did in raising the dead opening the eyes of the blind allowing the mute to speak. Each and every soul wants to hear Jesus aloud instead of living with Jesus as One listening to the Spirit of Truth that resides in us all as an absolute communication with our One and Only Savior! His silence is the most powerful resource alive for it resides in the silence of Truth knowing He is the reason for all things the world has to offer in goodwill. Use His silence as the fuel for a forever foundation living for Life Eternal by the love, faith and hope you share of His grace. Here, Jesus is the Master of Redemption dying for your sins by the silence of death on a Cross then Rising from the dead the silence of a grave to prove He was and IS the Only Messiah the Jewish faith and humanity will ever have. Rest in His silence and know His peace His passion and His purpose for charity’s sake. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus addressed by priest high
Answer none by You in a cry
You they testify against like a spy
Silent was Jesus you can’t deny
Saying priest high whose quiet he couldn’t abide
Under an oath us tell You ordered
Messiah are You Gods living Son will you confide
Blasphemy they sought to have Him quartered
