07-23-2023 Matthew Ch 26 v-5556 Fled from Him the disciples left in dismay
Gospel of Matthew Ch 26 v- 55 thru 56
55 At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me? Day after day I sat teaching in the temple area, yet you did not arrest me. 56 But all this has come to pass that the writings of the prophets may be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him and fled.
It’s hard for people to grasp what it means to fulfill the prophesies from all the Prophet’s of Old. I think the reason is because they are so long ago. Not the here and now but a past of different eras in time. That was back then not now. Jesus isn’t the here and now He’s the myth of past that has no bearing on today, right? But He, Jesus, fulfilled all the prophets of old that day allowing them to drag Him away beating Him to have their way even His friends fled from Him for the disciples left Him in dismay? Do you think Jesus knew they would betray Him? I know the answer is yes but more importantly, Jesus knew they had to protect themselves to carry on the message of Him dying for your sins on a Cross. This is called Salvation the Redemption of your sins. This fulfilled every prophesy from every prophet of old written or not written but more importantly brought us the Way to Heaven and Eternal Life unless we hear and do not see or seek yet never find touch and not really feel or taste and deny what the bread of life provides in food as the Divine. Look them up Prophesies of Old and test them yourself. Does Jesus fulfill every description every detail? When the disciples all fled, did they do it as foretold? Did Jesus give them all forgiveness so one day they would all minus one die for The Name of Jesus? When they fled, they fled in Him for His purpose His Divine Will of Truth. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Arresting crowd Jesus addressed
Robber against come to get
Me seize by clubs and swords
Area temple I taught people who watched by the hoards
Me arrest not day after day
Passage of writings must be fulfilled to play
After passed does this all happen you will say
He fulfilled all the prophets of old that day
Fled from Him the disciples left in dismay
