07-22-2023 Matthew Ch 26 v-5254 Fulfill how then Scriptures of recompense
Gospel of Matthew Ch 26 v- 52 thru 54
52 Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its sheath, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53 Do you think that I cannot call upon my Father and he will not provide me at this moment with more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But then how would the scriptures be fulfilled which say that it must come to pass in this way?”
Every disciple wanted to see Jesus rectify the persecution to an instant overcoming of the oppression Caesar had taken a hold of them in the world. The Jews like every other person of humanity wanted their freedom like the liberty they won when trusting Moses to cross a desert and leave the Egyptian oppression behind. This is the freedom we all want; Salvation! Amen. Every soul alive wants to live forever and the only way to accomplish this was to allow Jesus to die for the sins of the world hanging on a Cross and shouldering every offense mankind had ever taken. As Jesus said, “But then how would the scriptures be fulfilled which say that it must come to pass in this way?” This is our goal to know Jesus firsthand and to patiently seek His Will in every step we take. Sure, we are all going to sin. Period. Pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth will surely enter your soul for you are only human and not Divine but you can overcome them by calling on The Celestial Body of Truth that Jesus called upon when they scourged Him almost to death ripping His skin and piercing His head with a Crown of Thorns. He then was nailed to a tree once a living thriving tree of life now hanging and suffocating a dreadful death to cover the sins of all the world. Jesus wants us to use His four cardinal virtues of prudence, justice, temperance, and fortitude with the three theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity to live the seven capital virtues of chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility. Here, we learn how to bear wrongs patiently and by grace to bear wrongs willingly. Call on Him and His Will be done. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Sword perish you sword live by noted
Sword perish will the sword users
Father call upon if I wanted abiding
Moment this Me provide with defense
Angels Legions of Twelve armies confiding
