07-21-2023 Matthew Ch 26 v-4750 As you do traitor you
Gospel of Matthew Ch 26 v- 47 thru 51
47 While (Jesus) was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a large crowd, with swords and clubs, who had come from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48 His betrayer had arranged a sign with them, saying, “The man I shall kiss is the one; arrest him.” 49 Immediately he went over to Jesus and said, “Hail, Rabbi!” and he kissed him. 50 Jesus answered him, “Friend, do what you have come for.” Then stepping forward they laid hands on Jesus and arrested him. 51 And behold, one of those who accompanied Jesus put his hand to his sword, drew it, and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his ear.
The world is full of traitors. They seek only the good of fortune and fame instead of peace and goodwill. The virtue of love, faith and hope of a Redeemer is laid aside hoping old age will reach them before they have to repent and let go of the desires of the heart that are propelled by the flesh we groan in each and every day. When you deny and lie to God or your brothers and sisters, you contradict the very presence of the Holy Spirit who resides in each and every one to accomplish harmony of absolute peace for there is no peace in a lie when you do not know peace as Truth you deny. Why do we seek to deny God when we make mistakes as if He isn’t aware of them from our hidden stature? God sees you in your weakness and your strengths knowing your good can overcome everything bad about you where you are given a second chance at anything you desire to do in the surrender to living for Salvation; Life Eternal. We all want to live forever but we first must stop betraying Jesus and become a person of Truth striving to give more than take seeing sin as a mistake we overcome to relate to give instead of take. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**As you do traitor you**
Speaking still was Jesus as Judas approached
Crowd large carrying clubs swords escorted the Twelfth disciple’s risk
The elders and priests chiefs sent the people encroached
Sign arranged by the betrayer Him arrest the one I kiss
Rabbi hail Judas said with a kiss on the cheek
Jesus answered friend do quickly as you do traitor you in fear
Hands laid on Jesus as He was arrested by the weak
Sword drawn by Peter who cuts off a slave’s ear
