Gospel of Matthew Ch 26 v- 36 thru 38
36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37 He took along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to feel sorrow and distress. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is sorrowful even to death. Remain here and keep watch with Me.”
A place of prayer. A place of fear. A place where feelings of distress and sorrow envelope your soul. This is how Jesus felt; “My soul is sorrowful even to death.” Peter and the boys were tired but sometimes Jesus needs us to work through the weakness of body exhaustion and focus on the joy of mercy by His grace. Can you just watch and pray with Him no matter where He asks you to go? Tough decision when the world thrusts so much at us as we realize we only have so much time to accomplish the acts our soul seeks to satisfy. This place called Gethsemane can be anywhere you are; Jesus can be here too. In fact, He calls you to be His prayer warrior constantly sharing the joy of Salvation by the acts you accomplish in every aspect of your life. Your Gethsemane will be the testimony that encourages others to practice, pray and proclaim how to live Spirit-led God-inspired and Christ-fed. Nourish your soul there by the Word of God each and every moment of every waking day praying unceasingly over everything you do allowing you to proclaim without hesitation what it means to share Life Eternal. You are Redeemed here your Gethsemane allowing love, faith and hope of truth to live. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Gethsemane place came Jesus without fear
Disciples His said He very near
Me pray there while you sit here
Zebedee sons two and Peter began to peer
Distress and sorrow feel He began
Saying aloud death of My sorrowful soul
Watch keep here remain He would demand
Me watch keep here remain you’ll grow
