07-16-2023 Matthew Ch 26 v-2630 Disciples His give broken and blessed
Gospel of Matthew Ch 26 v- 26 thru 30
26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, “Take and eat; this is my body.” 27 Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, from now on I shall not drink this fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father.” 30 Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
Jesus left us something so special it could only be considered His Real Body and His Real Drink of His Blood. Something you either believe or you don’t. The real presence of the Eucharist contains His Body Blood Soul and Divinity. Jesus instituted the Eucharist as the Only Way to Heaven. In John Chapter 6 verse 35 you hear Jesus say to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will never hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.” I’ve been reading a lot about Eucharistic Miracles lately and I recently heard how a Bishop and other Saints have reacted to hearing the Host started to bleed and/or turned into human flesh that when offered to view these items they refused and said as Jesus reminds us all when He said to Thomas, “Blessed are those who haven’t seen and still believe.” Remember again in Luke Chapter 22 versus 19 and 20 when Jesus had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the New Covenant in My blood.” The Last Supper created the reason why His Church celebrates His Body Blood Soul and Divinity each and every day across the countless Churches everywhere in the world. This is why I say I am Spirit-led God-inspired Christ-fed. I remain in a state of grace by consuming His Nourishment each and every day seeking to find Him First in everything I do living Redeemed! Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
