06-30-2023 Matthew Ch 25 v-1418 Possessions entrusted to servant’s ability begun
Gospel of Matthew Ch 24 v- 14 thru 18
14 “It will be as when a man who was going on a journey called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them. 15 To one he gave five talents; to another, two; to a third, one—to each according to his ability. Then he went away. Immediately 16 the one who received five talents went and traded with them, and made another five. 17 Likewise, the one who received two made another two. 18 But the man who received one went off and dug a hole in the ground and buried his master’s money.”
Do you act in prudence or do you act in taking chances? Do you say to yourself, “I’m going to save every dime” or spend it like the end of time? Are you willing to take a chance that the Lord will protect you and supply even more by your decision to trust over worry giving to receive without glory knowing your Jesus firsthand? Our seven virtues speak highly of these thoughts putting them all to work for the glory of God for in your chastity you find release able to live righteously withstanding all that stinks. To be chase for another requires true temperance where self-control is guided by the Spirit of God so Holy enlightening your charity to trust in the Light of Christ as your Savior. You begin to see how easy it is to be diligent for the Lord never relenting in sharing the Word of God to garner Salvation. We become patient, kind and humble knowing our charge, confidence and conviction resonates the Name of Jesus where all chance is given to the Will of God finding protection and favor never a reason to crawl into a hole. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Possessions entrusted to servant’s ability begun
Talents five one given to protect and keep
Two to another and one other got just one
The master of the house away went he then
Five traded his for another five making ten
The two received did likewise with a grin
Man of one hole dug burying master’s sum to defend
