06-29-2023 Matthew Ch 25 v-1013 Locked was door once inside
Gospel of Matthew Ch 24 v- 10 thru 13
10 While they went off to buy it, the bridegroom came and those who were ready went into the wedding feast with him. Then the door was locked. 11 Afterwards the other virgins came and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us!’ 12 But he said in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Therefore, stay awake,* for you know neither the day nor the hour.
Think of Noah’s Ark. Play this scene out in your head. The flood comes and others are banging on the door literally dying to get in. “I wasn’t that bad. I didn’t sin that much? I can repent now. I believe you?” Are you too late? Will the door be locked and you can’t relate? Come hell or highwater what’s the decision you make? Is there a God, A Son and Spirit so Holy that we can’t mistake? Jesus reminds us today to stay awake! “You know neither the day nor the hour” of your death fate. You see, God gives us a choice a choice to live forever in goodwill or find desolation in hell as your feast. Hot or cold fire and brimstone or clouds and peace. Come on, what’s your decision? Let us begin by being well prepared. We do this daily by practice to make us perfect in the eyes of Christ. This perfection is the righteousness He asks us to use and is the beginning of His SEVEN SPIRITUAL WORKS OF MERCY. We use this virtue in Teaching the Ignorant remaining in a state of grace to share the love, faith and hope of His Redemption. We are an example of pure miracles of His grace overcoming a past that was full of death-defying sin. Yes, we overcame death to live in His Light. He is why we are always praying for the Living and the Dead for we once were dead but now alive in Him. We seek a life of Correcting Sinners learning to Counsel Those in Doubt while Consoling the Sorrowful seeking the beauty of Salvation and Eternal Life. Here, we are always willing to Bear Wrongs Patiently serving as an example of someone who always forgives showing that Forgiving Wrongs Willingly allows an eternal peace to rest over the Will of God you live. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Foolish ones departed to buy
Oil for their lamps gone dry
Bridegroom’s feast the wise obliged
Locked was door once inside
Foolish virgins returned
Door open Lord they yearned
You I know not bridegroom spurned
Awake stay hour nor day neither you’ll learn
