Gospel of Matthew Ch 24 v- 48 thru 51
48 But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is long delayed,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with drunkards, 50 the servant’s master will come on an unexpected day and at an unknown hour 51 and will punish him severely and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.
To preach means to impromptu on every subject Jesus places in our heart and soul as the joy of instructing the ignorant. The Spiritual Works of Mercy are seemingly ignored and forgotten in today’s world of instant access to flash and flair of everything digital. When I first began writing and recording Universal Utterings some 15 years ago, I sought to explain this sickness as “The Looking Down Syndrome” constantly attached to our phones in an ever-lasting conversation with your kindergarten buddy or the fake bot friend that sent you a friend request last year and you thought, “why not become friends with a total stranger from across the world, maybe they are friends of a friend,” right?
Meanwhile these bots follow everything you do even if you ask them not to. Speak aloud some desire and before you know it every commercial and pop up on your screen is that same desire for just about anything you can want or need. I guess that is the question; is it a want or a need? Will you become like the wicked servant and grow tired of waiting for the Lord and become like the wickedness of today forgoing instruction and/or the practice of the Word of God? Will you be ready by you practice, prayer and proclamation of everything Jesus sought to better understand the joys of Salvation knowing we are forgiven even though some may say you will never be in Christ He is the ONLY ONE who died for you and me. No more wailing. No more grinding or losing your teeth because you excessively created His Redemption and pursued the weak in Truth. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
