06-24-2023 Matthew Ch 24 v-4044 The world stole the soul of you
Gospel of Matthew Ch 24 v- 40 thru 44
40 Two men will be out in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left. 42 Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come. 43 Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour of night when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into. 44 So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.
Every day I wonder about this; Am I prepared? Has the world stole the soul of you? Where are we in denying our Lord in small instances as well as big demands? We want to think the world demands us to act in the way that we do; bold, selfish and greedy. Lord please help me overcome the self-indulgence of being human and allow me to be pruned as the Divine. May the goodwill You Lord instill in my soul become the virtues that I obey to see charity as my first nature in helping those who are lost, lonely and languished because they are sick or have a mental illness that plagues their very existence. May we become the hands and feet that provide the diligence of patience in caring for their needs instilling kindness with all temperance of Christ’s humility and grace given to know Life Eternal living Redeemed forgiven always forgiving. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Field be men two concede
Taken will one be
Left be one in need
The other flying free
Mill grinding women two
Taken one by God true
Left other life now blue
The world stole the soul of you
Awake stay therefore
Lord’s day know not for sure
This be sure not to ignore
House of Master thief preparation implore
Coming thief known
Awake stay prepared
House let not enter forgone
Prepared hour of Man’s Son declared
