06-20-2023 Matthew Ch 24 v-2528 No Messiah there to see
Gospel of Matthew Ch 24 v- 25 thru 28
25 Behold, I have told it to you beforehand. 26 So if they say to you, ‘He is in the desert,’ do not go out there; if they say, ‘He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For just as lightning comes from the east and is seen as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.
Jesus is reminding us that when the Son of Man comes The Messiah He will come with great works of grandeur being able to be seen for miles and miles like the lighting in the sky. Jesus will not be in the room or the desert someone picks out as their go to place to find the Messiah. No, Jesus will come as evident as the dead being eaten wherever they may lay by the vultures in the sky. There will be no mistaken identity here. It’s how we conduct our lives until He arrives or I might suggest that He will become a part of you in every aspect now by just surrendering to His Will in every aspect life has to offer. Find Jesus with you in every step you take for in Him we find the purpose for goodwill, charity and prudence to live with less allowing the more to flourish in the needs of those who need Jesus (Grace) the most. When you say God First, think of Him when you even do the most mundane things. Example. We provide lunch every now-and-then to our Avon Park Correctional Catechism Class. Today we are providing 40 tuna and egg salad sandwiches with bacon and a glazed filled raspberry donut with coffee. That’s more than 5 pounds of tuna with 4 dozen eggs and six pounds of bacon. The tedious work of boiling and peeling 48 eggs was very frustrating (Thank you to my wife Toni for completing the task) not to mention frying six pounds of bacon and opening 20 cans of tuna. Then I began thinking of the Lord and the work became nourishing more than taxing and I was refreshed with a shower and some sleep. Do everything with the Smile of Salvation and the mercy will bestow His grace to see every endeavor to the utmost of Truth. Amen.
The SEVEN CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY are Feeding the Hungry, Giving Drink to the Thirsty, Clothing the Naked, Sheltering the Homeless, Visiting the Imprisoned, Comforting the Sick and Burying the Dead. The SEVEN SPIRITUAL WORKS OF MERCY are Teaching the Ignorant, Praying for the Living and the Dead, Correcting Sinners, Counseling Those in Doubt, Consoling the Sorrowful, Bearing Wrongs Patiently and Forgiving Wrongs Willingly.

The Seven Sins pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth.

16 There are six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to him; 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that plots wicked schemes, feet that are quick to run to evil, 19 The false witness who utters lies, and the one who sows discord among kindred.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni on her day of birth and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

There go not to spill

Rooms inner is he
Believe not the riff
No Messiah there to see
East comes lightning as
West sees its great light
Man’s Son will come with pizzazz
Corpse wherever gathering vultures right
