Gospel of Matthew Ch 22 v- 41 thru 46
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus questioned them, 42 saying, “What is your opinion about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” They replied, “David’s.” 43 He said to them, “How, then, does David, inspired by the Spirit, call him ‘lord,’ saying 44 ‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies under your feet”’? 45 If David calls him ‘lord,’ how can he be his son?” 46 No one was able to answer him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare to ask him any more questions.
I often wonder how long it will take some people to stop questioning the Lord and give in to the wonders of Salvation. To see the truth of the Foundational Church and her Traditions as the Way the Lord originally prescribed for all of humanity. Jesus said in John 14:6-7, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you know Me, then you will also know my Father.” And then in John 14:26 Jesus says, “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in My Name—He will teach you everything and remind you of all that [I] told you.”
We have been given a true Teacher sent by God as the Advocate of all Truth to reinstruct any and all who call on His Name for guidance and the forgiveness of their sins forgiving anyone for anything they have ever encountered. There is so much release and power in forgiveness. Jesus once said by following Him you would encounter separations from the world be it family, friends or foes alike we will lose some in the Name of Jesus!
When they can’t forgive, they lose the ability to find Jesus as the Way and the Truth and the Life instead of asking questions about why He is your Lord and Savior you begin to seek the practice, prayer and proclamation of Redemption no more questions just answers that begin by living His Word sharing His grace for Life Eternal. Goodwill. There is a Supper Jesus instructed us to partake allowing us to become One with Him in Body, Mind and Soul living Salvation to see peace in every aspect of Christ’s love.
Our practice today shows Matthew presenting Jesus both as Messiah and as Son of David, the question is not meant to imply Jesus’ denial of Davidic sonship. It surely means that although He is the Son of David, Jesus is someone greater, He is the Son of God and the Son of Man, recognized as superior by David who calls him my ‘lord.’ Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. We pray for the intersession of our Holy Mother for the sister of Jackie her name is Loreen. Daily prayers for our neighbor Thelma. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Gathered Pharisees questioned by Jesus
Messiah opinion is what
He is the son of what father who pleased us
David’s they would strut
Then how Spirit inspired David lord him call
Replaying what he was saying lord mine titled Lord
Hand’s right side sit son how before he falls
Feet trampling enemies many thought to have been ignored
If he is called lord by David
Son his be how to store
Word Him answered not one could savor
Questions dare Him ask no more
