The Gospel of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 14 thru 23

14 He was driving out a demon [that was] mute, and when the demon had gone out, the mute person spoke and the crowds were amazed. 15 Some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he drives out demons.” 16 Others, to test him, asked him for a sign from heaven. 17 But he knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house. 18 And if Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that it is by Beelzebul that I drive out demons. 19 If I, then, drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your own people drive them out? Therefore they will be your judges. 20 But if it is by the finger of God that [I] drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21 When a strong man fully armed guards his palace, his possessions are safe. 22 But when one stronger than he attacks and overcomes him, he takes away the armor on which he relied and distributes the spoils. 23 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

In Luke 11:14-23, we encounter a profound teaching moment from Jesus as He casts out a demon from a mute man, restoring his ability to speak. This act of compassion draws a mixed response from the crowd: some are amazed, while others accuse Him of performing this miracle by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons. Here, Jesus reveals a crucial truth about the nature of His mission and the consequences of division. He states, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid to waste, and a divided house of sinners falls.”

This passage serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity in Christ. Those who stand against Him risk not only their earthly peace but also their eternal destiny. When people choose opposition over faith, they may find themselves scattered and lost, wandering far from the promise of salvation. In contrast, those who gather with Christ—proclaiming His message and celebrating the joy of eternal life—are embraced in His arms and assured of their place in heaven.

As followers of Christ, we are called to actively participate in His mission of gathering souls for the Kingdom. We must be vigilant against the allure of skepticism and division that can lead others away from the hope found in Jesus. Let us live boldly in our faith, knowing that our lives are a testimony to the transformative power of His love.

In a world that often pushes against the truth of the Gospel, may we be steadfast in our commitment to follow Him, proclaiming the joy of salvation and gathering others into His fold. Those who choose Christ share in the promise of eternal life, and it is our calling to lead others to that glorious reality. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

03-12-2026 Luke 11 v1720

**The Kingdom Of God Has Come Upon You**

In the quiet of the day, a tale unfolds,

Of wonders and whispers, of truth untold,

A silent crowd gathers, with eyes full of need,

As the Spirit of God plants His miraculous seed.

A man, bound in darkness, possessed and alone,

With a voice that spoke terror, a heart made of stone,

But Jesus, the healer, with compassion and might,

Cast out the demons, brought forth the light.

“By Beelzebul’s power, they say you cast out,”

The scribes and the Pharisees, they coldly spoke doubt.

Yet wisdom resounds, like a bell in the night,

“A kingdom divided cannot stand in the fight.”

If darkness holds sway, then darkness must fall,

But in Him is the answer, the hope for us all.

The strong man, he guards, with a fortress so grand,

Yet One stronger approaches with a life-giving hand.

“Choose, then, whom you serve, for the heart knows its way,

In the gathering storm, choose the light of the day.

For whoever is with Me, stands firm in the fight,

And scattering the shadows, we’ll honor the light.”

So heed the great call, from the words of the King,

Together in purpose, let our praises still ring,

For in every dark corner, His love will be found,

In the heart of the humble, where true grace abounds. Amen.
