12-11-2025 Isaiah 41 v1320 The Holy One of Israel Has Created It
The Book of Isaiah Chapter 41 Verse 13 thru 20
13 For I am the LORD, your God, who grasp your right hand; It is I who say to you, Do not fear, I will help you. 14 Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you maggot Israel; I will help you—oracle of the LORD; the Holy One of Israel is your redeemer. 15 I will make of you a threshing sledge, sharp, new, full of teeth, To thresh the mountains and crush them, to make the hills like chaff. 16 When you winnow them, the wind shall carry them off, the storm shall scatter them. But you shall rejoice in the LORD; in the Holy One of Israel you shall glory. 17 The afflicted and the needy seek water in vain, their tongues are parched with thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. 18 I will open up rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the broad valleys; I will turn the wilderness into a marshland, and the dry ground into springs of water. 19 In the wilderness I will plant the cedar, acacia, myrtle, and olive; In the wasteland I will set the cypress, together with the plane tree and the pine, 20 That all may see and know, observe and understand, That the hand of the LORD has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it.
Isaiah 41:12-20 offers a profound message of hope and assurance to those who are afflicted and needy. These verses remind us that even in our most challenging moments, we are not abandoned; our cries do not go unheard. The Lord promises to deliver His people, highlighting His unwavering commitment to provide strength and salvation to those who seek Him.
The imagery used in this passage is striking. The Lord speaks directly to the fears and anxieties of His people, assuring them that He will counter their adversaries. “You will seek those who contend with you, but you will not find them,” declares God, reinforcing the reality that justice will ultimately prevail. This promise resonates deeply in a world rife with injustice and suffering, reminding us that the Lord is an ever-present help in times of trouble.
The concluding verses encourage us to look to God as our source of strength. He is depicted as one who transforms the wilderness into a fertile land, reminding us that divine intervention can turn our despair into joy. The imagery of streams in the desert symbolizes hope and renewal—a powerful reminder that, no matter how dire our circumstances, God is capable of bringing life and abundance.
As we reflect on these verses, let us rejoice in the Lord, for He hears our cries and will lend His hand of salvation. Even those who may feel isolated or overwhelmed can cling to the promise that God is intimately aware of our struggles and is actively working to overcome obstacles in our lives. So let us lift our voices in gratitude and praise, for in Him, we find our solace and salvation. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. **The Holy One of Israel Has Created It**
In the quiet of the night, the Lord speaks clear,
“Fear not, for I am with you, my child, draw near.
Though enemies may gather, their strength is but a breath,
I hold your hand, your shield, even in the face of death.
The worms of doubt may gnaw at the soul,
But trust in My promise; I’ll make you whole.
As the grass withers and the mountains sway,
My word stands eternal, guiding your way.
I’ve chosen you, cherished, as a jewel refined,
In the furnace of struggle, your spirit combined.
I’ll turn desolation into gardens in bloom,
From the ashes of sorrow, new life I’ll groom.
Look to the heavens, the stars in their place,
Each one a reminder of boundless grace.
I’ve carved you in my palm, your name I recall,
In every trial you face, I will never let you fall.
The streams in the desert, the path through the wild,
I’ll bring forth my rivers, for you are My child.
Your weariness, your burden, I’ll take on the way,
For I am your Savior, your hope and your stay.
So rejoice in the promise, let courage arise,
For you are not alone in the dark stormy skies.
I will hold you steady, in darkness by My light,
With faith as your anchor, you’ll conquer the spite.” Amen.
