Nobody seemed to like him

The Gospel of John Seven 50 thru 52

50 Nicodemus, one of their members who had come to him earlier, said to them, 51 “Does our law condemn a person before it first hears him and finds out what he is doing?” 52 They answered and said to him, “You are not from Galilee also, are you? Look and see that no prophet arises from Galilee.”

The law of the land seems optional for those who run the making of the rules. There is no difference now as there was more than 2000 years ago. One of their own stood up and ask why they are not following the law afraid in some sense of absolute change. To see and believe then would make the outcome disrupt everything about those who made the law. Forgiveness was granted and it was something they could not understand. Our friend Nicodemus asked the question that nobody was willing to ask and because of it he lost credibility within his own people while his own laws became nonexistent to him.

We see no difference today locating situation’s that change the way a person thinks because of their surroundings being encouraged by the world. When I came home to the Universal Church, I was baptized into a reality of knowing Jesus first hand. I worked to understand what it means to live and receive the body blood soul and divinity of Jesus Christ. What I didn’t understand then was how much pressure I would receive in the beginning from those who believed in the same Jesus but didn’t understand the foundational church. Nicodemus and I are parallel today living the same distinction of following the true presence of Christ Jesus as depicted in the Gospels. This revelation comes from God whispered in my being consecrated to Saint Joseph as the intercessor of love, faith and hope of mercy and grace the only ingredients of true understanding.

I reminded a lifelong receiver of the faith of this when he spoke of eloquent speaker from a church he was at Sunday on FB. My reaction began and finished with the following; Forget not the True Presence of God. Remember anyone can speak of Gods wonders but still not know Jesus you grew to see as the Source of all preaching. Even the ones who are lost find Jesus as the reason to speak but still fail to give Jesus to their audiences. The Parish you grew up in taught you the real presence I’m surprised you’re not fighting to share this good news at the same time making a distinction between the words of people not knowing the foundational truth of the universal church. It is not how much you write or speak eloquently but where to find the true divine presence of receiving the body blood soul and divinity of Jesus Christ. Vivat Jesus! This is my first and foremost duty living faithful to the truth of Salvation and Life Eternal. Amen.
