The Gospel of John Six 22 thru 27

22 The next day, the crowd that remained across the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not gone along with his disciples in the boat, but only his disciples had left. 23 Other boats came from Tiberias near the place where they had eaten the bread when the Lord gave thanks. 24 When the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus. 25 And when they found him across the sea they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” 26 Jesus answered them and said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, you are looking for me not because you saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him the Father, God, has set his seal.”

When we learn to work for food that endures for life eternal, we become children of God seeking to share the fruits of salvation. We begin to recognize this nutrition is not just something you consume that will ultimately become the waste given to the world as a fertilized paste but the actions of love and faith where hope is seen as grace. Here, we become believers seeking His will constantly without quiver. Some may say it’s embarrassing to proclaim but where does any other food come from that ultimately wont be disparaged, despised and disdained food that never spoils grace gained. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Prayers for our son Gabriel and Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Sea separated crowd boats found Jesus how?

Tiberias journey to Capernaum Christ’s bread endowed

Finding Jesus they asked aloud

Arriving when Rabbi did you somehow

Double amen returned without denial

A filling meal brought your journey compiled

Signs not presented will perish regurgitated reviled

Food for work becomes waste not versatile

Life Eternal enduring food work

Given by Man’s only Son

Father given removes the guesswork

Seal His set had begun
