Wigs Word of God Today 8-25-2013

Do not disdain the discipline of the LORD or lose heart when reproved by Him; for whom the LORD loves, He disciplines; He scourges every son he acknowledges.” Endure your trials as “discipline.” Hebrews 12:5-7

Someone asked Him, “LORD, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.” Luke 13:23-24

\Isaiah 66:18-21, Psalm 117, Hebrews 12:5-13 & Luke 13:22-30

We find Jesus reminding us today that our Father in heaven will right our wrongs and fine tune our obedience in ways only God will know and that of which we must accept and comply. Yes, Jesus says we are to accept every step in life as the discipline He will shower upon us by the order life seems to obey in His Silent Command. People say let go and let God as I say heaven’s Truth is Christ proof for the grace to enter through the Gates of Heaven are narrow allowing for only three necessities to crawl through on our knees: surrendered, obedient and repented.

These three terms live out in the faith we profess in our surrendered discoveries of Christ, praying obediently over everything we do to live in Christ’s hope as our repentance allows us to love all without judgment seeing not fault but the Christ’s love of charity by the Salvation we carry in the Cross He allows and Wills for us to bear. The trials of life’s discipline prepares your entry through the Narrow Gates of Heaven where Eternal Life is welcomed by the faith, hope and love of charity we lived to imitate Christ. Discipline is God’s love of perfection created in His Son as the imitation He asks us to live by the thought, actions and deeds of our life. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to accept Your Discipline LORD as love to live for life. Novena prayers day nine for Maria with cancer. Novena prayers day eight for Ocean Studies Montessori. Novena prayers day two for Laura’s mother Ada in Israel. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 86:11-12, I chant- “Teach me, LORD, Your Way that I may walk in Your Truth, single-hearted and revering Your Name. I will praise You with all my heart, glorify Your Name forever, LORD my God.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Walking as He taught
Jerusalem was in His thoughts
One asked will all be saved
The Gate is Narrow Jesus prayed

Thoughts of Truth only displayed
Attempted by many by life’s slave
Strong not enough mortal bodies display
By Christ we will learn is the Truth of His Way

You may knock but can’t come in
The Master will say you are a slave to sin
Evildoers of lust and libations your grin
Teeth a grinding wailing aloud Prophets will lend

Out you casted them tossing the Father too
As people gathered from the east and west anew
Table reclined in God’s Kingdom they grew
To behold those who are first who were last you knew

At last you behold what is first in Christ’s Truth
